The Production Supervisor will work closely with the Operations and Maintenance Team reporting directly to the Production Manager.
The Production Supervisor will control and monitor production operations and oversee an already very successful team.

Responsibilities
- Provide support to engineering and management on special projects
- Ensure compliant workmanship that meets established quality standards using all tools and procedures
- Responsible for maintaining departmental KPIs aligned with divisional KPIs
- Ensures worker safety initiating or implementing corrective action as necessary to comply.
- Coordinate employee training and development in accordance with existing standards recommending changes to higher-level management.
- Directs hourly workers to ensure compliance with company objectives.
- Monitors manpower levels and recommends changes and improvements as necessary.
- Evaluate performance standards of subordinates taking corrective action where indicated.
- Ensure workers are knowledgeable in the performance of their job function and equipment operations.
- Monitor production process and initiate or implement corrective measures.
- Organize production activities to ensure effective utilization of available resources, facility, equipment, and workers.
- Direct report team is approximately 15 individuals
- Follows all health and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Production Leadership as a minimum requirement
- Strong working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
- Knowledge of Kaizen practices is considered an asset
- You have Strong communication and interpersonal skills
