As a Production manager, do you wish to oversee the day-to-day operations of manufacturing and material handling to ensure product is delivered on time and in conformance to specifications as per a planned production schedule.
As a Production Manager here, you'll be able to provide employees with a safe, supportive, and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced according to specifications, on schedule, and within budget.
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers to meet productivity and delivery objectives.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety guidelines and practices.
- Collaborate with the Program Management team to monitor customer priorities and adjust the production schedule accordingly.
- Identify and address resource allocation issues, including overtime and shift adjustments, to meet the planned production schedule.
- Actively participate in the Quality Management System, including assisting with corrective actions, staff communication, and problem-solving.
- Communicate with the Technical Support team to resolve productivity and quality issues.
- Manage shop floor human resource issues, including performance management, attendance management, interviewing and hiring candidates, and conducting performance appraisals.
- Engage in the continuous improvement process by leading activities to enhance productivity, workflow, quality, and employee culture.
- Communicate with Senior Management through regular planned meetings and as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate flexibility and understanding that all staff may need to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to achieve the Company’s mission and goals.
Qualifications
• College diploma or university degree preferably in a technical field considered an asset
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisor/manager role in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving/logic skills.
• Familiarity with AS9100, IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
• Ability to deal with changing priorities daily.
• Prefer at least 3 years’ experience in an electronics assembly environment.
