The Product Owner (PO) for the Business Intelligence (BI) team in Financial Economic Crime (FEC) is responsible for delivering BI-driven use cases to support FEC teams. You will define and prioritize the product backlog for BI solutions that align with the organization's needs, ensuring the successful operationalization of BI use cases. The team develops managed BI solutions, supports Self-service BI teams, and facilitates Data Analytics solutions (fabric warehousing), providing end users with the tools and data necessary for their own analyses. The PO works closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, data engineers, and BI developers to ensure that BI solutions are effective, efficient, and aligned with strategic FEC goals.
Backlog Management:
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, focusing on delivering maximum value to the organization
- Ensure that user stories and acceptance criteria are clear and detailed.
- Regularly align with stakeholders to ensure the backlog reflects business needs and strategic goals.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the BI team and business stakeholders.
- Maintain clear communication regarding progress, priorities, and outcomes.
- Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
Vision and Strategy:
- Help develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for BI solutions within the organization.
- Identify opportunities to expand and optimize self-service BI capabilities.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with BI developers, data analysts, and data engineers to ensure solutions meet technical requirements.
- Facilitate Scrum events such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor team progress and performance.
Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure that BI solutions meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Conduct acceptance testing and validate the delivered products.
Additional Information:
- The assignment is expected to last 9 to 12 months.
- We are looking for someone who can start quickly and be (almost) immediately up and running.
- Typically, on-site work is required once a week.
