Duties:
- As Product Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving QuickBooks product marketing initiatives, specifically for our UK accountant and bookkeeper community.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced product marketer to help shape our compelling accountant and bookkeeper product narrative and propositions.
- You'll influence product strategy to ensure product-market fit and influence GTM strategy through robust and differentiated messaging and proof points.
Responsibilities:
- Market insights :- conduct regular market and competitor analysis to keep abreast of macro product/tech evolutions, including topics of FMS, app integrations and AI.
- Customer insights :- leverage primary qualitative, quantitative research and rapid experimentation methods to uncover customer insights to validate and influence the product experience, inform audience-led marketing campaigns and drive business decisions.
- Develop targeting strategies, positioning and differentiated value propositions and messaging for our key accountant and bookkeeping segments.
- Triangulate multiple data sources to identify market opportunities and big customer problem spaces.
- Regularly conduct market and opportunity sizing of key product-led initiatives.
- Lead the development of sales enablement materials, supporting both new business and account management sales teams.
- Work closely with product management teams, GTM marketing colleagues, sales and commercial leaders to build product marketing plans
Required skills:
- Demonstrable experience in a product marketing role.
- Supporting product and marketing strategy development and cross-functional execution.
- Experienced in building value propositions, messaging hierarchies and identifying compelling proof points and 'reasons to believe' to support GTM activity.
- Proven success in solving complex problems, driving change, and accelerating the growth trajectory of products and customer propositions.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Familiar with the concept of 'TAM', 'SAM' and 'SOM' to form perspectives of the market, as well as the ability to triangulate data to form recommendations on market/opportunity sizing and build business cases.
- Results oriented - focused on driving business impact through initiatives that will deliver sales, customer and revenue growth.
- Customer obsessed and tenacious about understanding customer needs, behaviours and attitudes to uncover the biggest customer problems to solve.
- Able to ensure our features and innovations resonate with our key accountant and bookkeeper segments.
- Proven success in leading and building best-in-class sales enablement initiatives and materials.
- Strong influencing, communication and collaboration skills.
- Partnering with product teams, marketing and other business functions (UK and global) to deliver key projects and priorities.
- Positive attitude with a 'can do', solution-oriented attitude.
- Background in tech and SaaS is required, an understanding of the accounting software market is a plus.
