We are currently looking for a Product Development Manager for a leading player in the Food Manufacturing Industry with a legacy of more than 80 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

the role
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) and R&D projects, including raw material evaluation, product formulation, and process improvement.
- Assess production capabilities and concept feasibility before commercialization.
- Collaborate with OEM Project Manager/Marketing Team to ensure regulatory compliance for the target market.
- Develop and improve product formulations, ensuring safety, stability, quality, and legal compliance prior to commercial production.
- Prepare prototypes and assist with technical documentation.
- Conduct trial runs and analyze results at lab and factory scales before production.
- Ensure accurate ingredient declarations for label artwork, complying with allergen regulations and validating cooking instructions.
- Safeguard R&D documentation and maintain NPD records in line with FSQMS standards.
- Support FSQMS Team to ensure regulatory compliance for new and existing markets.
- Evaluate raw material suitability, quality control points, and formulation stability using risk-based assessments.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and product tests as needed.
- Participate in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits as part of the FSQMS team.
the experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing, food science or any relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Candidates from Food Manufacturing Industry and Beverage Manufacturing Industry are preferred.
