Procurement Specialist
About the role:
This is a new opening for a procurement contracts specialist in the Western Australia market, where you will plan, develop and establish contracts for the procurement of labour hire, goods, works and services for capital works projects.

- Maintaining a high standard of procurement and contracts management for high risk non-works contracts, across capital works projects.
- Leading critical commercial negotiations, analysing quotes and tenders for evaluations, and excelling in stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally.
- Prepare and manage tender plans
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, encompassing all tasks primarily associated with contracts.
- Providing a high level of stakeholder engagement with internal customers, and demonstrating superior relationship management and influencing skills with external parties
- Plans and executes effective negotiation strategies for contracts, leading initiatives to organise and provide support for negotiations as needed.
- Work closely with project managers to provide a comprehensive procurement service for assigned capital works projects,including the procurement of plant and equipment, and the organisation of contracts based on specifications prepared by external parties.
Key requirements include:
- Tertiary qualifications (in conjunction with relevant experience) in commercial, law, construction, engineering or similar will be highly regarded.
- Extensive experience in contract law.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication.
