• Responsible for overall procurement of relevant materials, subcontracting works.
• Source of reliable suppliers & contractors and to ensure project cost within budget and/or to maximise project savings and/or profits.
• Verify and approve purchase requisitions by reviewing cost comparison report, clarifying unclear items, recommend alternatives or substitutes, propose value engineering, etc.
• Verify and approve on materials requisitions, site measurements of work done, progress claims and invoices.
• Working hand in hand with other departments within the company to ensure a smooth and efficient procurement process and on time project delivery.
• Follow up and look into overall procurement and purchasing administrative matters and any other ad-hoc tasks.
• Plan and forecast company monthly cash flow and expenses.
• Follow up and look into overall administrative matters of various contracts and subcontract works including recommendation of payments, variation order certificates, etc.

About the Team:
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Procurement Manager.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, with exposure to electrical construction projects is compulsory.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
