About the Role: As a Procurement professional you will be a vital contributor to our purchasing and supply chain operations. Your role will involve processing requisitions, supporting sourcing activities, conducting cost and price analyses, and generating contracts and purchase orders. You will work closely with buyers and professionals to develop and implement improvement plans that enhance efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requisition Processing: Handle requisitions and provide support for purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, cost, and price analyses.
• Contract Management: Assist in the generation and management of contracts and purchase orders.
• Operational Improvement: Develop and implement improvement plans focusing on response time, lean targets, quality, cost, logistics, development, and management (QCLDM).
• Process Analysis: Perform analysis and maintenance of assigned processes to ensure excellence and continuous improvement.
• Customer Support: Provide pricing information and assist in supplier selection for customer proposals.
• Strategic Initiatives: Support purchasing strategic initiatives through analytical and administrative tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Data-driven Decision Making: Proficient in using data to inform decisions, aligning with strategic business objectives and goals.
• Effective Communication: Strong understanding of effective communication tools and techniques, with the ability to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret information.
• Project Management: Knowledge of project management strategies and tactics, with the ability to plan, organise, monitor, and control projects.
• Procurement Knowledge: Familiarity with procurement strategies, practices, and tools for buying goods, supplies, equipment, and services.
• Specific Procurement Systems: Understanding of specific procurement system features, functions, and operations, with the ability to develop and use related tools and practices.
• Purchasing Procedures: Knowledge of purchasing policies, regulations, and processes, with the ability to procure materials, components, equipment, and services effectively.
• Logistics Management: Insight into logistics management processes and tools, with the ability to predict and control the movement of goods and materials.
