Randstad is exclusively recruiting for a Procurement and Contracts Analyst to join a renowned government agency. This position will drive the strategic direction of this organisation's procurement and contracts department, by analysing and reporting on procurement and contract management data to influence management decision-making and forward planning. The successful candidate will also be the go-to person for advice on decentralised procurements within individual business units, meaning that this role will have a tangible impact on procurements across the organisation. Responsibilities include:
- Analysing procurement and contract management data
- Preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management and the broader procurement and contracts team
- Educate stakeholders on procurement and contracts trends
- Partnering with business units to advise on their procurement processes
- Participate in the evaluation of tender responses
- Being the go-to expert of their contracts management system
The successful candidate will:
- Have a demonstrated understanding of procurement and contract management
- Have the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions from data
- Possess strong communication, influencing, and business partnering skills
- Experience using procurement, contract management, ERP, or P2P systems
- Ideally have experience working for a government entity (desirable)
