The G&C team is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining internal controls to manage non-financial risks and comply with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong risk and compliance experience and quality control testing skills.

Responsibilities
-Execute process, risk, and control self-assessments and recommend improvements to automate or streamline controls.
-Perform testing of key controls within established deadlines using TD testing methodology.
-Analyze, report, and track exceptions, supporting the development of remediation plans to address internal control gaps and root cause themes.
-Assess and evaluate Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to ensure effective risk management.
-Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
-Assist with ad-hoc initiatives and strategies from a risk and control perspective.
-Promote a collaborative team environment by effectively communicating information and insights with colleagues.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
-Degree or certification in Audit, Testing, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
-Minimum 2 years of experience in risk, audit, compliance, or quality control testing.
-Demonstrated experience in relationship management and stakeholder interaction.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Proven ability to adapt quickly to new situations and work collaboratively.
-Decision-making abilities and experience in risk and control testing.
NICE TO HAVE:
-Experience with Alteryx.
-Previous experience in the banking sector.
-Front or middle office experience, especially related to trading or PnL environments.
