Your responsibilities:
- Supporting children across the curriculum
- Recording and reporting a student's progress to the teacher
- Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher
- Assisting with lesson plans
- Assisting students during class making sure they are on track
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all the children
- Working with small groups and 1:1
- Safeguarding children
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress
- Having a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot

Essentials for getting cleared as a Teaching Assistant:
- Relevant experience working with children, either personally or professionally
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Classroom experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, teachers, and parents
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
- 2 recent Professional References
