An incredible primary school in Stockport is seeking a primary teacher who is flexible and can help students aspire to be so much more. Their aim is for all members of the school community to have high aspirations, embrace their unique abilities, and achieve success in all areas of life.
As a primary teacher, you will engage children with your knowledge and enthusiasm, enabling them to enjoy learning and take pride in their accomplishments from an early age. You will collaborate with coworkers to organise and produce school work in accordance with curriculum rules.
This is a long term full time position.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A PRIMARY TEACHER:
- Creating engaging lessons to involve pupils of all abilities, coordinating with colleagues and TAs where needed.
- Planning appropriate lessons to meet national curriculum guidelines, keeping up to date with changes
- Providing help and support to individual pupils as required and taking responsibility for their academic progress.
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils, progress, and participating in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole school training events.
- Setting up the classroom and organizing displays and equipment.
- Encouraging children to work together to achieve goals.
REQUIREMENTS FROM THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- An Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one.
- Relevant Teaching qualifications - PGCE, QTS
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role).
- Two most recent professional references. (This is essential)
- Adapt to the demands of the students in a professional and courteous manner.
