Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting groups of children under the supervision of the teacher.
- Providing regular feedback to the class teacher and maintaining records.
- Assisting with children's personal needs, including minor first aid, and promoting health, hygiene, and well-being.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and caregivers to monitor progress.
- Working with children 1:1 or in small groups to enhance their learning experience.
- Acting as a positive role model for students and colleagues.
What you'll need:
- Experience working with children.
- SEN experience
- A passion for supporting children's development.
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
- An enhanced child DBS (we can assist if you don't have one).
- Skills in behaviour and classroom management.
- Patience and adaptability to engage children in planned activities.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
