Power BI Developer - Shrewsbury - 12 Month FTC
This role involves integrating a new MRP system, collaborating with the integration team, and designing live dashboards using Power BI to streamline and enhance operational efficiency. As part of this transformative journey, you'll play a critical role in bringing cutting-edge solutions to a traditionally manual and spreadsheet-heavy operation.
Key Responsibilities
... - Lead the design, integration, and implementation of a new MRP system.
- Develop and deploy Power BI dashboards for real-time reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to identify and address process inefficiencies.
- Utilise a structured methodology to manage the software development lifecycle for delivering enhanced software solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Provide technical expertise and support during the project lifecycle, including troubleshooting and optimisation.
Skills and Qualifications
Must-Have Hard Skills:
- Advanced Power BI skills for dashboard creation and reporting.
- Proven experience working with MRP systems and integrating ERP solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
Soft Skills:
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years working with software systems and integrations.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and structured methodologies.
- Industry experience in automotive, engineering, or engine building is preferred.
Working Environment
- Location - Shrewsbury
- Fully onsite role, 5 days a week. (once the candidate is up to scratch and knows what they are doing then a hybrid working pattern can be adopted)
- Flexible start and finish times, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
- Work schedule: 4 days at 8 ¼ hours and 1 day at 4 hours.
- Rate : £23.54 / hr PAYE OR £30.30 / hr UMBRELLA
