Randstad Construction & Property are working on behalf of a National Facilities Management company to find an experienced and collaborative Plumber/Heating Engineer to join their team covering Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across different sites.
Job Title: Plumber and Heating Engineer
Location: Glasgow (mobile)
Salary: up to £38,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Diagnose and resolve heating system issues, including boilers and radiators.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on plumbing and heating systems.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide timely solutions to urgent issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Relevant plumbing and heating qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds).
- Gas Safe registered (preferred).
- Previous experience in residential and commercial plumbing and heating.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Full driving license.
