We are seeking a skilled and reliable domestic plumber to join our dedicated team, working on a social housing contract in the Newcastle area. This role involves undertaking a range of plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks within residential properties. As part of our commitment to providing exceptional service to our tenants, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their homes are safe and functional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance work in social housing properties.
- Diagnose and fix plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures.
- Install and maintain domestic plumbing systems and appliances.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing their concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of all work carried out and materials used.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a domestic plumber, ideally within the social housing sector.
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent as a minimum.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid UK driving licence.
