We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced plasterer to join our team for a contract role working on behalf of a local authority in Killingworth. This position involves domestic repairs and maintenance across various properties within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all aspects of plastering, including skimming, rendering, patching, and other related tasks.
- Repair and maintain walls, ceilings, and other surfaces within domestic properties.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while working on-site.
- Provide high-quality workmanship that meets local authority standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within domestic repairs and maintenance.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Plastering.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Asbestos awareness.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in construction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Full UK driving licence.
