Job Description: Plant Finance Manager
Location: Palwal, Haryana
Working Days: Monday to Saturday Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall financial operations at the factory including invoicing, AR, AP, General Accounting,
Product Costing, Inventory Valuation & Controls, MIS & reporting etc.

Ensuring timely & correct vendor invoice(s) booking and payments, PO approvals etc.
Ensuring timely and correct invoicing, GRN movements, E-way bills preparation.
Preparation and monitoring of relevant financial operations KPI and driving improvement thereof.
Finance business partner to Plant Head and Plant cross functional team.
Responsible for month-end financial closing and preparation of necessary financial schedules, workings,
provisions etc.
Preparation of Plant P&L and other MIS reports, as may be required by the management from time to time.
Responsible for implementation and streamlining of various financial and operational processes & controls
at the plant.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, product costing and inventory valuation in line with the
prescribed costing and accounting guidelines.
Responsible for financial hygiene of the books. Preparation of Balance Sheet schedules monthly and ensuring
no overdue issues & accounting challenges.
Weekly review of advance balance, monthly review & reconciliation of accounts payable balances. Identifying
and addressing the irregularities promptly.
Ensuring budgetary controls at the plant level.
Strong knowledge of taxation – both direct and indirect. Ensuring timely compliances and tax management.
Experience of handling stock audits, internal & statutory audits.
Custodian for financial & other critical documents at the factory. Ensuring data repository management.
Responsible for driving automation and simplification across various financial and operational processes.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong experience in plant financial operations.
Proficiency in SAP or other ERP system is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to details.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration & communication skills.
High proficiency in MS office and MS Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
Educational Qualifications:
Cost Accountant / Chartered Accountant or MBA finance from reputed institute with 4+ years of post-qualification
experience in plant finance.
