Overall
Hands on experience in execution of Piping Works in Oil and gas, Petrochemicals Projects during construction, pre-commissioning & commissioning phases of the Project
Support Project Manager to maintain Quality, Schedule and Cost of the Project as per approved Baselines
Shall have thorough understanding of Isometrics, Layouts, GA Drawings, P&ID
Plan, coordinate, expedite timely execution of Piping works by PMC / EPC Contractor
Ensure timely receipt of Drawings, AFCs, material at Site to release Construction Work
Monitor progress on daily / weekly basis, identify and address bottlenecks, alert Project Manager in time on any potential delay or Cost Overruns
To ensure Project / Company HSE goals are achieved
Should have thorough knowledge of Piping works related to CS, SS, HDPE, and similar MoC and good understanding of API, ANSI, DIN, BS Codes
Ensure Codes, Standards and Project Specifications are strictly followed by PMC / EPC Contractor

Routine Work
To visit Construction Site daily to check Piping Work is carried out by Contractor is as per approved QA/QC Plan, Project Specifications, AFCs, etc
Examination of Fit-up, Welding joints before, during and after it is done is as per isometric and QA/QC Plan
Inspection of raw material, MTC, welding consumables, surface preparation, blasting, painting, etc
To Monitor and Approve Pre-Fabrication and Installation of Spools, Hydro-testing. re-instatement of spools, valve, fitting and instruments to achieve Project completion
Review / approve of QAP / ITP, Method Statement, Welding Procedure Specification, Procedure Qualification Record, Welder Performance Qualification, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
Review / Approve templates, Tie-In Procedure, etc. prepared by PMC / EPC Contractor
Review deployment of manpower and machineries deployed by Contractor is as per requirement.
Ensure timely closure of Site queries, Non-conformance Reports, Deviations, etc. by PMC / EPC Contractor
Participate in periodic quality audits
Review RA Bills for payment verification / certification
Monitor Procurement Activities related to piping and bulk materials in order to ensure material work front availability
Monitor material receipt, storage and release of material to Site.
Approve material reconciliation during handing over by Contractor
Review / Approve As-builts, Test Packages and Final documentation

- Coordination with PMC, EPC Contractor and Operational Team for timely completion of Piping works as per Schedule and QA/QC Plan
- Ensure compliance to all codes, standards and specifications by PMC / EPC Contractors.

A. Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
1. BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
2 Thorough knowledge in NDT Methods like RT, PT, MT, UT
B. Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:
1. Hands on experience in execution of Piping Works in Brown / Green Field Projects in Refinery
2. Worked in Shut down period in an Operating Plant will be an added advantage
3. XX years’ Experience in Piping Construction Work.
C. Functional Skills:
- Experience in Construction of Piping Works
- Day to day co-ordination with PMC / EPC Contractors
- Knowledge of API, ANSI, DIN, BS Codes standards
