• Prepare Bill of Material. Recommend manual valves best suited for application.
• Provide preliminary valve weights, Communicate and interface with other engineering disciplines.
• Attend CAD model reviews as required.
• Shall get the Pipe stress analysis done from competent engineer and update the model
• Assist in developing Cameron Standards for Cameron products.
• Maintaining project documentation.
• Teaming up with process engineers. Prepare valve list as per P&ID
• Perform with civil or structural along with stress departments to assure suitable flexibility and assist
piping systems.
• Ensure performance of staff members complies with established project standards.
• Review project parameters related to piping requirements.
• Participate in meetings plus provide project status.
• Aid sales and contracts for proposals.
• Prepare and manage schedule for piping design projects.
• Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the company and
facility HSSE program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment.
• When delegated, must be able to assume a lead technical role over other engineers or project
subgroups for completing specific tasks.
• As applicable, must be able to perform or assist in the performance of problem root cause analysis and
lessons learned.
• As required, must be able to assists in on-the-job-training and mentoring of assigned personnel.
• Approve and follow engineering schedule, coordinate design work as applicable, forecast man-hour
estimates and utilize MOC process.
• Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and related piping experience.
• Knowledge of process industry/ regulatory codes and standards.
• Able to conceptualize and draw design details independently with minor instruction from project
engineering.
• Familiar with national and international codes and standards for valves testing and construction,
inspection and NDE requirements, and field installation and start-up procedures.
• Must be familiar with piping specifications, administrative and technical practices, design instructions,
plot plans, flow diagrams and interpreting vendor information.
• Knowledge of pipe support requirements.
