This role is perfect for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail and can prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
We are seeking candidates in the Oakville area who are available to start as soon as possible for a 4-6 week contract.
Advantages
- $20-$21 per hour
- 4-6 week contract, with a strong possibility for extension
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Work for a leading pharmaceutical company with over 25 years of experience
- Corporate building with quick access to the QEW
Responsibilities
- Receiving invoices regarding patient medications
- Prepare shipping of medication , this includes retrieving medication from shelves and packaging it up.
- Ensuring that all documentation is completed accurately including preparing shipping documentation i.e. waybills
- Receiving and making inbound calls to patients and other customers
- Perform general administrative tasks such as handling the mail, typing, and maintenance of filing systems
- Interact with inter-department associates and management
Qualifications
- Past experience in administration, retail customer service, merchandiser, shipping coordinator
- Excellent computer skills and adaptability with technologies
- Strong organization and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable handling medications
- Comfortable using a two-step ladder
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Being proactive and taking initiative
