Our client in Cambridge is looking for experienced Welders! This is a permanent day shift located within Cambridge.
Role: Welder MIG
Shift: Days
Payrate: $30-$35 (depending on welding experience and weld test)
Shift: 6:30am to 3pm - Monday to Friday

Please note you must have at least 5 years of experience working as a welder.
You will be working with High Pressure Vessel Components.
This is NOT a production welder, you will be required to work on MANY custom jobs.
Able to pass the following Weld tests:
-GMAW-P on 3/8” carbon plate, horizontal position, open root (mandatory test)
-GTAW on 2” 40 carbon pipe, open root. Any position (Optional test)
Able to provide 2 work related, supervisor references

Responsibilities
- Interpret welding schematics and drawings in order to custom weld to client specifications
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience working as a welder- MIG
- Ability to pass GMAW-P on 3/8” carbon plate, horizontal position, open root (mandatory test)
- Prior experience working in a custom job shop
- TIG experience would be considered an asset
- Experience working in a fast paced environment with little supervision
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings
