This business is a leading specialist division of a large ASX listed organisation. The organisation is experiencing continued growth and is utilising contemporary practices to improve their efficiency and profitability. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture this role will see you join a leadership team providing strategic HR advice, planning and project delivery to a national client group. The role will call upon the expertise of a seasoned generalist capable of developing and executing strategic HR plans. This is a standalone role supported by a HR shared services team based within the parent organisation.
Your role will see you create, drive and deliver people solutions in line with the business strategy. Your role will incorporate value adding solutions across a range of areas including strategic workforce planning, talent and succession management, industrial relations, culture & engagement planning, performance coaching, remuneration advice, change management, coaching complex employment advice.
Key Accountabilities:
- Business Partnering: Understand business needs, drivers, HR solutions and delivery of HR strategies
- Demonstrate strength in Employee Relations/Industrial Relations: i.e negotiations, investigations and representation
- Workforce Planning: structures, position design, advice and support
- Review , consult and deliver strategic planning focused on diversity and inclusion targets
- Organisational Development: leadership development, training and talent development, training initiatives and programs and performance management
- Performance and reward: Deliver the annual performance and reward cycle for the Division
- Actively promote a positive and consultative HR style to the broader business
- Participate and contribute as a change champion within the business in line with the business, growth and change strategies
- Utilise the services of a dedicated HR services team to deliver best in class HR services to your client group.
- Work with senior leaders and the CPO of the parent company to ensure consistency across the organisation’s HR strategy.
The successful candidate will have considerable experience within a similar role/environment, outstanding relationship building, coaching and influencing skills. You will also have a solutions-focused approach and deal with issues and change in a proactive, positive way.
