We are seeking an enthusiastic PE teacher to join our team in Preston and Blackburn, inspiring Key Stage 3 and 4 students to excel in sports and physical education. This role offers a competitive daily rate, reflecting your experience, qualifications, and teaching expertise.
In this role, you will be planning and teaching a variety of sports, fitness, and health-focused activities, while promoting teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive PE curriculum in alignment with educational standards
- Punctual and reliable
- Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
- Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Organise and monitor extracurricular sports activities and events
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Respond to questioning

Personal attributes:

- Experience up to key stage 3 and 4
- QTS/PGCE equivalent
