Regional Overview

Sharjah is the cultural capital of the UAE and these schools are in the cities of Kalba and Khor Fakkan, two locations primed for rapid development. Teachers will live in the very close by emirate of Fujairah, enjoying coastal living only a short distance from the school sites (Kalba is 5 minutes away and Khor Fakkan is 20 minutes). Fujairah is across the mountains, just over an hour from Dubai. People who live in Fujairah benefit from the active lifestyle which the environment is conducive to, with rugged mountains and beautiful beaches on their doorsteps.

Requirements

This PE role is teaching from pre-school through to Grade 8 and ideally you will have age appropriate experience. You will be teaching female students from Grades 5 to 8 and as per UAE laws, you must therefore be a female applicant.

Applicants must be qualified teachers holding degree level certification and QTS or equivalent. You should have at least 2 year of experience post-qualification; however, outstanding applicants with one year of experience may be considered. Australian curriculum experience is preferred but not essential. Previous international experience is welcomed.
