The Payroll Specialist will be responsible of the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees within the company. This role involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, calculating wages, and handling tax withholdings. The Payroll Specialist will also address employee inquiries regarding payroll, manage benefits deductions, and maintain payroll records.

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Processing full payroll
Handling Records of Employment
Managing employee group insurance
Preparing T4 and Relevé 1 forms for all employees
Submitting government slips and reconciling any discrepancies
Processing payment requests to unions, the FTQ, and the CCQ, and generating the report
Collaborating with payroll technicians
Participating in meetings, discussion groups, or exchange forums
Performing any other related tasks
Qualifications
The desired profile is as follows:
4 or more years of experience in a similar position
Bilingual in speaking and writing
Experience with multi-province payroll processing
Member of the Canadian Payroll Association, an asset
