Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Process hourly and salaried payroll for multiple locations and affiliates.
Utilize Ceridian Dayforce and ADP time and attendance systems to prepare, verify, and post hours.
Review inputs, transactions, and hours for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Prepare and transmit weekly data files to Ceridian for payment.
Provide customer service for payroll inquiries from team members, management, and external agencies.
Issue Records of Employment and prepare employment verification letters.
Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Create and modify reports using Ceridian Dayforce.
Perform month-end functions, including journal entries and payroll account reconciliation.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Business or Accounting.
Minimum 3 years of payroll experience.
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation or working towards it.
Experience with multi-province payroll legislation; US payroll experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce HCM Time and Attendance module, ADP WFN, or similar payroll systems.
Strong understanding of financial concepts.
High level of accuracy and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, with the flexibility to work varied hours as required.
Customer-focused with an interest in process improvement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
High degree of confidentiality and discretion.
Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.
