Seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join a dynamic team in a growing organisation. This role will be key in supporting a systems upgrade project, and you will work alongside a dedicated payroll team. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate weekly payroll processing for employees across various states, adhering to the relevant awards and agreements.
Key Duties:
... - Handle end-to-end payroll processing on a weekly basis
- Address payroll-related queries and provide ongoing support to the team
- Work closely with HR and finance departments to resolve payroll inquiries
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations
- Stay informed about current payroll regulations to ensure full compliance
- Assist with generating payroll reports and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Support payroll-related projects with a nationwide focus, as required
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar payroll role, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Familiarity with payroll procedures, relevant legislation, and compliance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in all tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible and eager to learn in a dynamic, high-energy environment
