Pay Rate: Between $41.38 to $52/hour + super
Location: Chippendale
Hours per week: 21 hours, 3days/week
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with the preparation of equipment and materials for classes.
- Pickup and drop off materials to various locations.
- The reclaiming and reconstitution of clay and glazes.
- Load and unload the ceramic kilns.
- Carry out general housekeeping within the studio spaces.
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with the Cultural Venues and Programs Team.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the delivery of outstanding service.
What you will need to succeed
- Experience in the creative arts.
- Demonstrated experience in working within a studio, including care and maintenance of equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Well-developed judgment and problem-solving skills, flexibility, being proactive and using initiative.
- As the studio maintenance aspect of the role involves manual handling/lifting/repetitive action, applicants must be physically fit and capable of some heavy lifting
- Current Driver’s License
