about the job
You will be expected to extend superb secretarial support to the Chairman of the firm and represent the Chairman professionally when liaising with internal and external senior leaders to schedule meetings and appointments. You will be responsible to provide end to end support for the Chairman’s travel arrangements, from booking of flights and accommodation to drafting the travel itinerary and planning local ground transportation and meal reservations. Supporting personal errands, managing family leisure trips and helping with other administrative tasks in the firm, such as organising social activities, will also fall under your care.
about the manager/team
You will be working closely with another administrative staff to ensure smooth operations for the Chairman and will be reporting to the Director of HR.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 10 years of experience in a secretarial role, preferably supporting C-suite members in a financial institution. You will need to be highly organised and detail-oriented, as well as have strong follow through skills to keep on top of your responsibilities. Being discreet when dealing with confidential matters and being flexible to respond to urgent matters outside of working hours will be required of this incumbent.
