Responsibilities
● Manage and lead activities of projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished
within budget, schedule, and scope.
● Determine time frame, funding constraints, procedures for accomplishing project objectives,
staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to various phases of the project.
● Lead and complete documentation, review, and approval of project documents, including
Project Charter, Project Management Plan, Support Model, and other project deliverables.
● Provide guidance and coaching on agile rituals, tools, and best delivery methods to use and
advocate for these approaches.
● Manage the collaborative planning processes, prioritizing the work that needs to be done
against the capacity and capability of the team and track progress.
● Proactively manage dependencies, resolve blockers, escalate more challenging risks and issues
as necessary, and get the best value against constraints.
● Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsors, Steering Committee
and Working Group.
● Provide stakeholder management and communication, including status reporting, chairing the
Working Group and Steering Committee meetings, as well as work with other parties for project
activities as needed.
Qualifications
● Significant experience in project management.
● Experience leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver a digital solution.
● Knowledge and experience with agile rituals, tools, and techniques.
● Ability to manage dependencies across components and tasks and can sequence work
appropriately to deliver the highest value.
● Strong skills in workshop planning and facilitation.
● Ability to deliver within tight timelines.
The following skills and experience are considered an asset:
● Experience working with Public Sector software implementations.
● Strong skills in the use and knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams,
Confluence, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
● PMP designation.
● Experience with CSDS products, such as Tax Programs (TPOA, TPMS) and the Provincial Deed
Transfer Tax (PDTT), is considered an asset.
