Responsibilities
• The system administrator will work closely with the current administrators and development team for application deployment, system migration, monitoring and securing the infrastructures.
• Responsibility and integrity to understand and respect security rules and information technology usage.
• Proactive and autonomous on finding system issue solution, application deployment planning and system migration strategy.
• Curious to learn and organized in questioning team members for current state and upcoming implementation.
• Planning and communication; migrate and deploy applications in a transparent manner for the users with clear communications and support.
• Critical and analysis oriented: recommend solution and best practice for short, mid and long term.
Qualifications
• 5 years of relevant experience in all aspects of the Windows and Linux Server administration and design.
• Experience with remote server management and scripting using MS Powershell or BASH.
• Experience with Automation Anywhere A360 platform administration and support.
• Strong interpersonal skills & ability to effectively convey a point and gain support from stakeholders. Strong English verbal & written skills.
• Excellent at breaking down complex problems. Self-starter who can work independently.
• Experience working in an environment where the team and applications support processes around Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliancy.
Experience with services application configuration and monitoring for Microsoft SQL Server, IIS and TomCat.
Experience with Jenkins, GIT, Team Foundation, Urban Deploy and Openshift.
Assets & Additional Information
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and BAF (company’s application framework) using Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence and Gitlab.
• Experience in the telecommunications domain.
• Ability to work flexible hours if required during deployment & normalization.
• Ability to work after hours on call on a rotational basis.
• Language: English required, French bilingualism is an asset
