• Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks for React.js and Next.js front-end applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to promote Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, ensuring that testability is a core consideration throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for various aspects of the application, including unit tests, integration tests, UI tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Work with the team to define and implement testing strategies, including test plans, test cases, and test data management.
• Identify and analyze test results, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the test automation infrastructure and processes, and shift-left mindset.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for test automation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in test automation, ensuring that the team leverages the latest tools and technologies.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a proven track record of success in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices, including TDD, BDD, and ATDD.
• Expertise in automated testing frameworks for React.js and Next.js applications (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).
• Proficiency in JavaScript and related testing libraries (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into the development workflow.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated testing tools.
• Experience with data-driven testing and test data management.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
