As a trainee machine operator, you’ll take charge on the work floor with precision, solve malfunctions independently, and ensure regular machine maintenance. You'll also share your knowledge by teaching colleagues how to operate the machines correctly, all while working in a warehouse that feels like the future!

Who you are

As an operator in training, you work with precision and aren’t afraid to take charge on the work floor. Additionally, you are technically skilled and eager to learn. You are also able to walk a lot. After all, you walk a lot of miles in a day between all the machines. You also recognize yourself in the following:

You speak English;
You can apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG);
You have a bike, scooter, or car to travel to the Arsenaaldok 2 in Nieuwegein.

What will you do

At PostNL Nieuwegein SKP, you’ll work with modern sorting machines in a fast and dynamic team. As an operator in training, you'll ensure the machines run smoothly, fix any malfunctions yourself, and perform maintenance. You'll also teach your colleagues how to operate the machines correctly. You’ll be working in a warehouse that feels like the future!

Working days: Monday to Friday. Sundays will be rotated.
Flexible working hours: Between 21h30/23h00 till 06h00 or from 00h00 till 08h00.

At this location, mostly smaller packages are processed, with much of the work done by robots. How cool is that? Still, there’s plenty of manual work to be done, so you’ll never work alone. Together with an international team, you’ll ensure that all packages are sent out on time. From team leaders to sorting staff, everyone works directly for the Tempo Team.
