Responsibilities
• Analyze incoming payments from VISA & MasterCard clients under 4 eye review and prepare batch reports for posting of payments to cardholder accounts.
• Data input (MDE posting)
• CTS deposits (Processing cardholder payments received by Cheque)
• Process credit balance refunds
• Prepare, input/verify MEP entries.
• Handle incoming/outgoing inquiries.
• Suspense and DDA account reconciliation
• Liaise with the global EZREC team and provide EZREC back-up documentation as required i.e., financial reports.
• Serve as back-up EZREC preparer for local EZREC team.
• User acceptance testing (UAT) supporting projects/initiatives, as applicable.
• Prepare and input of capacity details monthly.
• Ensure all monthly status logs are updated and accurate.
Qualifications
• Ability to execute with exceptional quality and accuracy.
• Three to five years of experience in payment processing with a financial institution
• Knowledge of payment processes and Canadian clearing systems/rules
• Strong accounting skills
• Strong people and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and keyboarding skills; knowledge of Visio would be an asset.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Team player with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks, as required.
• Availability to work shifts, statutory holidays and weekends, as required.
