Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities
As a Operations Officer, your duties will include but not limited to:
●Following instructions of data classification/retention
●Taking specific actions to remediate data
●Working with multiple shared drives
●Analyzing – what documents to be disposed/keep
●Implementing correct data classification
●Working on a specific shared drive and list.
●Executing transactions accurately, on time and in line with established guidelines/procedures while adhering to formal or informal Service Level Agreement(s) (SLAs)
●Referring or escalating processing or operational issues as needed based on a solid understanding of the issue, connecting with the appropriate function/partner to facilitate resolution and ensure that service quality is maintained
●Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery
●Supporting partners with incoming transactions, validating information as needed to perform adjustments within authority levels
●Interacting with partners by responding to requests in an effective and timely manner
●Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements for service and productivity
●Understanding internal and industry regulations and trends, remain informed of emerging issues and apply appropriate due diligence in adherence with operating policies/procedures
●Exercising discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
●Supporting the timely and accurate completion of business processes
●Reviewing internal processes/activities and provide ideas for process improvement
●Investigating and escalating non-standard or high-risk activities as appropriate
●Adhering to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to operations activities for own area (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management)
Qualifications
●Proficiency with excel
●Data entry – 1 plus years
●Banking experience
●Meeting SLA’s
●Experience having dealt with customer information (confidential information).
●Customer service experience
NICE TO HAVE:
●Previous experience in risk mgmt
●Post- Secondary education is ideal (in a related field)
