Our client is seeking a skilled Operations Officer for a long term role. In this position, you will utilize your strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and ability to manage high volumes of work to support critical business functions.
This is a onsite position with 5 days in office.
Pay rate: 20.12
Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm OR 9am-5pm

Responsibilities
- Regulatory and AML Support: Provide technical expertise and operational support on regulatory reporting, AML, and ATF, ensuring accurate and timely filing of reports.
- Data Discrepancy Reviews: Conduct rapid reviews of data discrepancy alerts, rectify errors, and ensure accurate data entry into reporting systems.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement improvements in products, workflows, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Risk Management: Protect organizational interests by managing risks, escalating high-risk activities, and adhering to audit and regulatory requirements.
- Workload Management: Prioritize and manage tasks to meet service and productivity goals while adhering to SLAs and confidentiality guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive team environment, share knowledge, and support cross-training and development activities.
- Process Improvement: Actively review internal processes, suggest improvements, and serve as a subject matter expert in complex tasks across multiple systems.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- 1-2+ years of AMl, operations, data entry/enrichment, regulatory reporting, client onboarding / KYC, and/or payments transaction processing experience
- Previous corporate / financial industry experience
- Self-driven and motivated to learn
- Able to work independent but also work as part of a team
- Computer savvy – pick up on internal systems and quick learner. Previous advanced experience with computer applications, Microsoft Word and proficiency in Excel
- Adaptability to a constantly evolving operating environment, operational process, system capabilities to name a few with productivity / quality targets.
NICE TO HAVE
- Previous banking experience (international included)
- Professional education or certifications
- Business writing experience,
