Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of content moderators. Conduct
regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and ensure team members are well-trained
and motivated.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily content moderation operations to ensure adherence
to guidelines and standards. Monitor workflow and productivity to meet performance metrics
and quality benchmarks.
Process Improvement: Analyze moderation processes and workflows to identify areas for
improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in
content moderation.
Policy Development: Collaborate with policy and compliance teams to create, update, and
enforce content moderation guidelines and procedures. Ensure that policies are up-to-date
with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Incident Management: Handle escalations and complex content moderation cases. Work
with the team to resolve high-priority issues and address user complaints or concerns.
Data Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to content
moderation. Generate reports and provide insights to senior management on trends,
challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and customer
support teams to address content-related issues and ensure seamless integration of
moderation processes with platform features.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing
moderators. Ensure that team members are knowledgeable about content policies, tools, and
procedures.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that moderation practices comply with legal
regulations and internal policies. Manage risk by proactively identifying and addressing
potential content-related issues.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
A master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Experience: Overall 10+yrs of exp. and minimum 5+ years of experience in content
moderation, and at least 5 years exp. as operations manager with excellent communication
skills.
