Job Title : Operations Manager
Salary: $160,000 per annum + superannuation + vehicle
Location: 20 minutes North of Adelaide
Your Role:
Playing an integral role in the running and organisational strength of the company, you will be reporting and working with the General Manager to provide timely and accurate support in all areas of HSEQ, Compliance, Human Resources and Business Operations, as well as working with departments heads and the operations team including but not limited to to installers and general hands/ factory workers. Furthermore, a high level of professionalism and a strong ability to multitask are also vital for this role
... Requirements:
- Assist with all project safety requirements including JSA, SWMS, Mental first aid, Load restraint etc
- Lead, Motivate and Develop a medium size production team
- Manage company production software, paperwork, scheduling and other administrative duties
- Create policies and procedures to ensure effective operational requirements are met
- Develop and implement Internal/External Training Programs for company staff
- Oversee and Govern the accuracy and quality of investigation for incidents, including actions to prevent future occurrences
- Oversee Operations assistant/HQSQ Manager with Return To Work process (Return to work coordinator qualification required)
- Manage all day-to-day operations of manufacturing and project management
- Manage client expectations and meet deadlines for all projects
- Maintain organised files and appropriate documentation of completed work
- Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and company requirements associated with HSEQS/compliance and ensuring management and staff are informed of any relevant changes
- Maintain and manage machinery maintenance schedules
- Ensure accurate records, training certificates, inspection reports and other documents are readily available on request and updates in systems
- Manage all recruitment, On Boarding and Off boarding process to suit operational requirements
- Manage employees inductions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an operational role within the construction industry
- A strong understanding of the construction process
- Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety (advantageous, not essential)
- White Card (not essential)
- Ability to manage and schedule staff proficiently with a proven track record in leading teams to achieve company and personal goals
- The ability to prioritise, communicate professionally and meet deadlines in accordance with company specifications and requirements
- Return to work coordinator certification (desirable)
- Full drivers licence
