The benefits of this Operations Assistant position include:
- Location in Anjou, East Montreal
- On-site parking
- Temporary contract with a minimum duration of 18 months
- Hourly salary between $55,000 and $58,000
- Working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Reception and Front Desk Management at the Distribution Center (handling visitor management and office orders)
- Administrative tasks
- Monitoring supplier billing
- Managing and tracking material procurement to maintain necessary tools for daily operations, as well as items contributing to employee well-being, such as vending machines, cafeteria supplies, and other essential work tools.
- Responsible for shipping supplies
- Overseeing various events at the Distribution Center
- Updating employee communications across all platforms, including screens in the Distribution Center, emails, and surveys
- Designing, monitoring, and keeping access site maps current, employee timekeeping badges, and planning locker usage.
- Any other related tasks
Qualifications
- Possess at least a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) or an Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC) in secretarial studies or administration, or equivalent and relevant professional background;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Have a good knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook), and familiarity with SAP software is a significant asset;
- Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English, both orally and in writing, as well as establish good interpersonal relationships;
- Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Demonstrate analytical thinking, versatility, cooperation, innovation, and an ability to adapt to changes.
