Key Account Specialist - On Trade (Singapore)
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Commercial / Sales Head, you will be responsible for overseeing sales / account management for the on trade segment - on-trade channels, such as bars, restaurants, hotels, and nightclubs.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The On Trade Sales Specialist is responsible for brand presence in on-trade channels, such as bars, restaurants, hotels, and nightclubs. This role involves building strong relationships with key accounts, implementing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
Account Management:
... - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key on-trade accounts.
- Conduct regular visits to customers’ outlets to ensure optimal product placement and promotional execution.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the on-trade channel.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives as set by the company.
- Identify and secure “Lighthouse accounts” to amplify brand visibility and usage.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to secure partnership and ensure profitability.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities to increase share of market
Promotions and Events:
- Plan and execute promotional events and activities to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the on-trade market.
Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customers interactions, and market intelligence.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage client information and sales data effectively.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree / diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the on-trade sector, Strong understanding of the beverage or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Able to work on weekends and weekday’s nights as needed
