Role overview:
The Office & Facilities Manager will play a key leadership role, overseeing office operations in North Sydney and Newcastle while managing and mentoring a small team. This position is ideal for an experienced Admin or Office Manager from a smaller business, ready to take on greater leadership responsibilities in a larger organisation and drive the success of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manages two direct reports, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring SLAs are met.
- Facilities Management: Oversees 3,000 sqm of office space, including maintenance, security, and compliance with WHS regulations. Coordinates relationships with landlords and contractors.
- Purchasing Coordination: Handles purchasing of goods and services, manages expense reports, stock levels, and travel bookings. Maintains accurate records using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Relationship Management: Establishes and manages relationships at all levels, ensuring clear and professional communication.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in office and facilities management.
- Proven ability to manage direct reports and delegate tasks.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
