Due to high demand We are looking for a highly organised and skilled Office Administrator to join our local schools in and across Wigan and help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our school office.
As the Office Administrator, you will provide key administrative support across a range of functions within the school, with particular focus on maintaining student records, handling financial tasks, and supporting the school's management systems. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a school office environment, with proficiency in SIMS and FMS systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide general office administrative support including answering phones, managing correspondence, and handling queries from parents, staff, and visitors.
- SIMS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records on the SIMS system, including admissions, attendance, and personal details.
- FMS Management: Support the finance team with day-to-day use of the FMS system for processing invoices, managing budgets, and handling financial reporting.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Input and update data as required, prepare reports for staff, governors, and external agencies.
- Communication: Coordinate and distribute internal and external communications, including newsletters and notices.
- General Office Management: Order supplies, manage stock, and assist in the organisation of school events and meetings.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in line with data protection policies.
What we are looking for:
- Strong proficiency in SIMS (School Information Management System) and FMS (Financial Management System).
- Experience in managing student data and financial records within SIMS and FMS.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
