Position: Network & Telephony Services Management SpecialistMission:The mission of this role is to support business growth by managing information systems, IT infrastructure, and IT-related devices across departments and stores. This includes overseeing the data network infrastructure, telephony services (analog, IP, cloud), and IT projects in collaboration with various internal teams and external partners.Reporting:Reports to the CTO of the Technology team in Japan.Working Relationships:• Collaborate with various internal technical teams (Digital Workplace, IT Operations, Store Projects)• Coordinate with Asia IT Service Desk, Network Operations Center (NOC), and global support teams• Engage with external partners, including network and telephony service providers and telecom carriers• Interface with local support teams, business units, and global stakeholdersResponsibilities:• Manage the IT Data Network infrastructure and telephony services, ensuring service level and smooth operation• Contribute to the implementation of global core network models and lead network-related projects in Japan• Oversee telephony services, including the transition from legacy systems to cloud telephony (MS Teams)• Support the operation of the Call Center (CSC) and Virtual Studio by managing the call management system (CMS) and providing technical network support• Manage vendor relationships, hardware lifecycle, and service contracts.Required Competencies:• Minimum 5 years managing corporate core infrastructure and networks• 5 years of experience with Cisco network devices (Meraki preferred)• 5 years of experience managing telephony infrastructure (Cisco VGW, cloud platforms)• 3 years of experience managing SD-WAN and security appliances• Vendor management experience• Strong communication skills in Japanese and business-level English• Experience with cloud-based security solutions, Microsoft M365, Zscaler/ZPA, ServiceNow, and telephony systems (MS Teams, Cisco IP-Phones)Preferred Qualifications:•PMP, ITIL, CCNA/CCNP certifications• Experience in multicultural work environmentsFuture Career Opportunities:• Technical Project Manager (Network, Digital Workplace)• Chief Technical Officer in Japan
