Responsibilities
• Working within a development team at CLBC on a variety of business solution development projects on the Microsoft .NET platform;
• Works with solutions architect(s), business analysts and team members on application design; designing a solution for IMS interfaces to MWS and vice versa, RFS/ROS application and data migration.
• Responsible for the delivery on their portion(s) of the technical solution such as code, unit tests, deployable packages compliant with the required development standards.
• Adheres to established development practices and procedures related to the department and adherence to industry and corporation standards, as well as develops and maintains documentation in accordance with these procedures and processes; and
• Proactively resolves complex technical issues, such as performance issues, refactoring, test coverage, system integration and demonstrates innovative thinking by making recommendations for new approaches to technology as appropriate.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Diploma/Post-Graduate Certificate or equivalent professional work experience, minimum 60 months (5 years) relevant experience;
• Development experience on the Microsoft Windows platform, minimum 60 months (5 years) experience;
• Development experience with Microsoft .NET with C#, minimum 60 months (5 years) experience;
• Experience working within a development team on a variety of business solution development projects on the Microsoft .NET platform, minimum 60 months (5 years preferred) experience; and
• Experience developing multi-tier solutions with Microsoft .NET, minimum 60 months (5 years preferred) experience.
Desirable Requirements:
• Experience with Microsoft Entity Framework;
• Experience with Microsoft Communications Foundation;
• Experience with AJAX development;
• Experience with NServiceBus or Service-Oriented Architecture;
• Experience with GIT, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy
• Experience with PowerShell scripting
• Experience with SQL Server
