Aker Solutions together with Randstad, is currently looking for an NDT Inspectors who will join the team and strengthen our capabilities on projects in Norway.

- Conduct various NDT tests using some of the follow techniques such as ultrasonic, penetrant, magnetic particle, radiographic, TOFD, and Phased Array to detect defects, flaws, or irregularities in materials, welds, and structures (UT, RT, ET, MT, PT, VT)
- Analyze and interpret the results of NDT tests to assess quality and compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Verify whether tested materials and components meet project quality standards.
- Prepare detailed reports of conducted non-destructive tests, including descriptions of performed tests, obtained results, their interpretation, and any recommendations for repair or further actions.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the engineering team to ensure the compliance of conducted tests with project requirements and achievement of established project goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines regarding the safe use of NDT equipment and tools.
- A couple of years of work experience in a similar position.
- Experience in NDT inspections in at least one of the following techniques: UT, RT, ET, MT, PT, VT, TOFD level 2, phased array.
- NDT Certification at level II (ISO 9712, PCN).
- At least one of the following is beneficial: API plant inspector, advanced UT, advanced ET, welding inspectors IWI and rope access certifications (e.g. IRATA).
- Availability to work in rotations (14/21) and flexibility in terms of inspections locations.
- English proficiency at a communicative level.
- Norwegian proficiency is nice to have.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to safety and the ability to perform tasks with the highest level of accuracy.
- Team player attitude with openness to work in international environment.
