The National Sales Manager (Modern Trade) plays a critical role in overseeing the company's confectionery category in Malaysia. This role plays a critical role in ensuring that execution excellence, building relationship with key customers and driving net revenue and volume growth. This role will report to the Head of Sales and manage a team of 4 Key Account Managers and Assistant Key Account Managers.
Job Responsibility:
- You will need to develop and drive broad customer relationship across all levels with a key focus on building relationships at an appropriate level within the customers
- Ensure the delivery of joint customer plan
- Leading, mentor and develop sales team in term of account management, selling skills and negotiation skills
- Effective manage trade spending to optimise opportunities to drive growth.
- Execute the strategy for the customer
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 10 years of experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in Key Account Management
- Candidates with Trade Marketing experience is an added advantage
- Proven track record of leading change/transformation
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
