・Inspire and lead a 30+ person team, with 4 direct reports and a wider team of KAMs and field representatives across 5 locations; and develop team members through goal setting, feedback, and coaching using available processes and tools・Set and communicate priorities and KPIs ensuring effective collaboration within the team・Develop Build a 360° understanding of customers (bar suppliers and on-trade outlets)・Develop and execute a channel vision and strategy for the on-trade channel, based on set brand and business objectives; and share within the team and other departments・Develop annual channel plans, including a commercial calendar, and work to align with the overall Japan commercial plan・Set annual targets and allocate resources by region and customer, with KPIs to measure results, analyze results, capture learning and assess issues and opportunities on an ongoing basis to pursue continuous improvement・Manage customers by segmenting and prioritizing customers to allocate time and resources; designing guidelines and plan incentive programs; negotiating and executing commercial and promotion plans; and by planning training and other programs to educate and engage the staff of bar suppliers・Lead Brown-Forman Commercial Way deployment across the on-premise team designing frameworks, processes and policies for business development in the on-trade channel; assess commercial capabilities of the team and collaborate with other areas to identify necessary training needs・Work with Trade Marketing to develop tools and programs to maximize the availability, visibility, recommendation and promotion of our brands in the on-premise and assess commercial capabilities for the on-trade channel; identify and prioritize areas for improvement・Work closely with Sales Planning & Operations and Finance to manage annual budgets and monitor spending & commitments versus plan; analyze and report performance; and ensure consistency, efficiency and effectiveness of processes across on-trade organization
求められる経験
・High School/GED/Secondary School
・Sound knowledge of the on-premise channel in Japan, working with bar suppliers and outlets
・10+ years of progressive sales/marketing roles
・Ability to lead and manage team and people, with demonstrated leadership skills
・experience in customer negotiations, with an ability to use data and deduce customer
・Ability to drive growth
・Fluent Japanese and able to communicate clearly in English
・Prior experience in premium and super-premium wine and spirits in Japan
・Experience working in international companies, particularly US or European
