Are you a skilled engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a prestigious, Grade 1 listed building near Waterloo Train Station. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an iconic setting while supporting the maintenance and operation of essential building services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both planned and reactive maintenance across various building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
- Ensure all systems are functioning optimally, maintaining the comfort and safety of building occupants.
- Provide proactive maintenance to prevent system breakdowns and service disruptions.
- Respond swiftly and efficiently to emergency repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and building guidelines, particularly within a heritage environment.
- Work collaboratively with the facilities management team to deliver high-quality service.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer, with competence in electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance.
- Heritage experience is highly desirable, as the building is Grade 1 listed.
- Familiarity with maintaining buildings of historical significance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- A valid electrical or mechanical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
- Previous experience in a commercial or office building environment is an advantage.
