Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Modern Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., PGCE) is desirable.
- Ideally French and Spanish
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)-this is essential
- Right to work in the UK - this is essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service-this is essential
- Must Provide 2 proven professional references
- Experience teaching French and German at the secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Proficiency in both languages and a passion for promoting language learning and cultural exchange.
- A strong passion for teaching languages and inspiring students.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively use educational technology and online resources to enhance learning.

- Spearhead the development of the modern foreign languages curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and cultural relevance
- Lead and inspire language faculty members, fostering a collaborative and innovative approach to language teaching
- Create engaging and instructive language courses that foster a love of cultures in addition to teaching grammar and vocabulary
- Monitor and celebrate each student's progress, fostering a nurturing environment that respects diversity
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate language learning across our curriculum
- Actively participate in school events and cultural days, bringing languages to life
- Uphold the highest standards of teaching and learning within the modern foreign languages department
